I didn't see Rome on your list, or Deadwood. Both a treat to watch.

I'd also recommend The Venture Brothers, an adult animated series featuring dysfunctional and failure-prone heroes, villains and super-scientists.

Archer is another good animation series. Spy themed.

Something that has started recently is "Black Mirror", a UK series of standalone hour long episodes. Dark, brutal occult-savvy satire. Definitely going to keep watching.

That 70's Show is a classic for me. New Girl is funny, and Zooey Deschanel is a goddess. Don't watch to much TV though, it's bad for ya.

I might also have to check out Black Mirror, since you seem to have great taste in TV. The first season of Rome was excellent, and Archer is my favorite show on TV right now. I can't wait for the new episodes in January. I never got really into Venture Brothers, but I've seen a few episodes and it's pretty funny. I haven't seen Deadwood at all.

I would second Archer and add It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia if you're into bawdy comedy.

An Idiot Abroad was really funny if you're into somewhat dry British humor.

If you still haven't seen Arrested Development, then you don't even know what comedy is yet. I read that they are finally making the movie and even some new episodes to lead into it. I think it's going to be distributed by Netflix.

Firefly is a really excellent sci-fi drama, though it's kind of cheesy and there's not nearly enough of it.

I have so much trouble believing if that guy is for real, but Ricky Gervais swears he is.

Yeah, I think he puts a lot of it on, but it is still based on his real personality. Either way, it's hilarious.

One show I that I haven't thought of in a while is "Veronica Mars".

Basically a US highschool/private eye drama. It's not bad.

I had a huge crush on her character when I was watching that show on TV.

For you non-Brits and anglophones, Wiki lists 100 top-rated UK programs here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_Greatest_British_Television_Programmes

I didn't check the American page equivalent.

I'm currently into Royle Family at the moment. Pretty quirky stuff.

If anybody is into Grace Park from the recent Battlestar Gallactica, which was pretty good, then you'll like her in Hawaii Five-O which has been appearing in the Top 20 Nielsen ratings as of late.

If anyone can recommend some more Brit stuff that would be great.

Did anyone not like Boardwalk Empire? I watched the first 4-5 episodes and just didn't get into it at all. I like most HBO shows, but that one didn't do it for me.

I did the same and wasn't a fan, but I've heard that it's pretty good if you actually give it the time.
