Anyone going to the Beirut Concert on the 25th? I wasn't aware of how large a following they had here in Korea. Anyways, I'm thinking of going but my wife may not want to go. Anyone interested in going with me? Ticket prices are a little steep (88,000) but I'm gonna try to find some discounted tickets through a Korean site. Let me know!

Apparently the following isn't that huge! Confused

I like Beirut well enough but probably not enough to pay the exorbitant Korean ticket prices. I hadn't heard anything about this, where's the show at?

yeah, the ticket prices caught me off guard as well. I'm still debating on whether I'm going or not, but part of me just wants to get out and do something different. I read about them playing here from a Korea Herald article. I guess they are playing at Ax-Korea? I haven't checked the location yet, but I'm guessing it's near Coex or something. 88,000 won per ticket, yeesh.

Huh. The venue's actually near Gwangnaru Station.

Stinks the friend who got me interested in Beirut just went back home last month. Then I'd be going for sure!

I have no interest in Beirut myself, but friends back home just went to the concert and said it was excellent.
