So my iPod died and I need a new one, and the ones I've seen in shops around my area (Jeonju) have been expensive enough for me to consider ordering one from back home in the UK. I know amazon don't ship to Korea, but does anybody know of any reasonably priced sites that DO? Or would I have to send it to my parents for them to ship to me, which would be expensive to get it to me quickly, which means I might as well just grab one from the nearest electronics store... |

I believe Amazon US ships to Korea....well at least they shipped books. But if it's just an iPod you might be better off getting it here. With customs duties & VAT it'll probably be more. |

One thing you need to take into consideration is that whenever you have anything shipped to you and the declared value is over 150$, you pay a 20% duty on the total value. It's one of the reasons they can get away with a relatively high MSRP on imports here. |

Anyone ordered a Macbook Pro off the internet (Apple.com etc) and had it shipped over? I'm giving it some serious thought.
The 15" Macbook Pro I've seen in Seoul is just over 2 million won, compared to 1300 dollars or so for the online one.
Even with customs duties it would still be cheaper to ship it here. Or does anyone know where to get one in Korea for a cheaper price? |

It's not $150, it's 150,000 WON, and the figure includes shipping. |

If you have access to the base you can buy them there or have it shipped from the US to an APO address for no import fees. |
