RAYMOND PALOMINO � white guy with no mask
TODD RAMOS � grey and black hoodie
JOHNNY LI � blue hoodie and blue snap back on
DANNY HUI � dressed in all black
Could have been a retaliation for a 20 on 2 beating.
tl;dr
15 year old girl lured the 17 yr old victim to alley. He gets pummelled.
I call BS for the cantonese/chinese translator. It's obvious that the kids have a good grasp of english. |

I don't know how an FOB kid who could barely speak English could get into the drug scene that quickly. If it was for initiation, they wouldn't have let him keep any cash (as far as I know). He also looked fairly clean cut.
My bet is well to do Chinese parents giving him a large allowance. Many of my Korean Elementary-High School students carried more cash with them regularly than I ever dreamed of when I was their age. I think the reason being that their parents don't see them for days at a time so they just give them $100+ for food and to keep them busy while they study. |
Right, because Chinese-American English speaking wannabe-ghetto kids are the same as Korean students in Korea. 
Uhhh sorry, but plenty of Asian kids back home slung drugs and were in the scene. And no one is stupid enough to carry that much cash on them in Chicago. |

I would imagine in LA with the large Korean population that there are animosities between Koreans and say Chinese, Southeast Asians, etc...
I do find it interesting that Korean-Americans and Indian-Americans get along pretty well. |
Same in London; Koreans, Chinese and Japanese all have rivalries and violence even in schools (even though ironically, the Chinese and Korean kids ape Japanese culture and fashion trends still.) |

No, but their parents are probably a bit similar unless they're second generation.

This applies to Chicago but not everywhere.
Sometimes the full depth of how much American cities can suck surprises me. |
