Every time I use KEB Internet Banking and try and make a transfer, it asks me to enter a million different passwords, and when I do, almost every time there are problems. Usually when I try to type in a password, it either shows nothing, or often it will show a different number (e.g. I type a "2" but either nothing is inputted or I get a "9".) Usually if I delete the first number and type again, the correct number appears.
This happens every time, whether I use the numbers along the top or the keypad, and so I called KEB today to see if they could help. They think there's something wrong with my keyboard. I have a Canadian multilingual standard keyboard (just means you can type in English and French), but I've never had a problem like this on any other website. I also use Internet Explorer when I go to the KEB site, because I know Korean websites usually favour Explorer. I'm NOT running Keylogger or any other key-logging software.
Have any of you had similar problems, or does it just hate my computer for some reason?
Thanks |

Are you running all the proper background programs that the Korean banking sites love and like. 2 or 3 will start and run when you use the KEB site. Make sure the programs are not being blocked or refused permissions. Maybe the legit keyboard monitor program is conflicting with the French. Still why not install the Korean Keyboard layout with windows just in case. I rarely use mine but maybe the site wants it.
I find also that just going slow, helps. Treat Korean sites like a tard. Go slow and double check you typing. |

It's not just your computer. Try doing internet banking on a mac. Shinhan has a firewall program thingy for their internet banking but evidently my mac is American so it doesn't work. And evidently Citibank now has a firewall thing for macs too-but only for Mac OS X Leopard and above.
KEB on the other hand seems to be one of the better banks for banking on a mac though... |

I use a windows pc and haven't had your problem.. Make sure, of course, you're using Internet explorer.
Yeah, the log in routines are a bit over the top with the James Bond level of security/encryption. |
