Yes, go to Yongsan-Gu office along with your I.D and they will give you the necessary healtch check for an E-2 for just 1,500 won!
I didn't believe it at first, because the previous times I've renewed/got a new visa I went to an actual hospital and paid 40,000 plus but I rocked up, filled out a form, took a blood and pee test and paid 1,500 and waited about 5 days for my results then gave them to my new employer for immigration.

Woah, I had mine done a couple weeks ago at just a plain ordinary-looking local hospital that the director brought me to (outside Busan). The health check cost me 93,000. And I saw the receipt, too. Yikes.

I know, I'm really glad my company told me about it as I had hardly any money before I signed for them.

Anyway, you need to go to the health centre, (보건소) in the first basement (B1) and there was a guy who spoke english and sorted it out for me.

My mate also did his for the same price at Yangcheon-Gu office...

Water is fine. In fact they'll call you on it if your pee is too dense: You should drink more water. I also enjoyed my customary black coffee the morning I tested, without consequence.
