I have seen Korean persons waiting at bus stops checking on their smartphones using an app, that shows them how many minutes before the bus (they are waiting for) will arrive at the bus stop.

I can't seem to find the app they are using.

Could someone give some details of the name of the app?

Really? You can't find it? Where have you looked? Try "Seoul bus app" in a google search.

Thanks - I have that one... ( Seoul Bus 2 - 수도권버스 )

http://tiny.cc/GAOf2b

But I have played around with it and can't find where it tells me when the next bus is coming.

I gave it to a Korean friend to play around with also - he also couldn't figure the app out.

How about some instructions?

You need to input the number for the stop first. Most stops post a 5-digit number for your reference.

The app is really handy because you can search for a specific bus at a stop and then put it in your favorites, allowing you to go straight to the bus arrival info. But if you just search by bus, you get the entire route. Search by stop.

Ex: 02-004 is one of the Seoul Station transfer center stops. So go to Search stop, type in 02004 with the numpad, and search. You will get a list of pretty much all of the buses. To the right of each bus is the next arrival time.

Thanks ZyZyfer & TJ

Would you happen to know the 5-digit number for Jamsil Station -exit 9 (the bus stop with all the big red&white buses - 1000, 1100, 1115, 1670, 1700)

The bus I want to track is 1115-6 (wish to catch it early each morning at that bus stop).
