It's out for PC. I got it today.

I don't know about the Xbox 360 though, but I'd assume so. Games are usually released on every platform at the same time. I'd recommend getting it on the PC it will look a lot better for you than it would on a 7-year-old console.

Ah, gotcha. I saw it for Xbox 360 on Gmarket. The Yongsan video games area probably has it but they run out of stock quick on new/popular games.

Only from 1? If you haven't played through 2 yet, do it before playing 3. Awesome game of pure epicness. If you haven't read any spoilers yet, you might be disappointed at the ending.

Any opinions on the graphics quality on PS3? I got the game a week ago from a COEX store and have a hard time enjoying it, video looks distinctly older than most titles of the past 3-5 years. The voice acting is also way below what I've come to expect after some awesome 2010 and 2011 releases.

I really want to like it (I have ME1 and ME2 for PC) but after the first two hours I was just at "meh" and took a week long break to advance my Dark Souls game, played another 2 hours and I'm now at "mah" (an improvement from "meh" but not that much) and wonder if I should take another break for some progress in Demon's Souls.

Really, really hope it gets much much better, and soon.

I watched the endings on youtube last night. They were suitable. I don't know what people were expecting. This is the third act in a three act Science fiction story about Aliens invading Earth.

I've been playing it.

Have been very surprised at how the gameplay has not changed at all, in fact it just feels like a clone of ME2. Bit of a lazy sequel really. Very clunky fps action.

Its more about how your actions in the previous games and missions have very little effect on the ending. It contradicted what they advertised. I think people (including myself) had higher expectations after the second game's ending.

Mass Effect has always been more about the story and characters but you're right. If you're used to pure action games than ME does fall short in that regard. Compared to how much combat has changed from ME1 to ME2, the third feels almost the same as ME2.

I haven't had a change to dig into it yet (just the demo a few weeks ago) but I liked the combat system a lot more. It feels more fluid, refined and less RPG-like.

If I'm playing a shooter, I'm not a big fan of adjusting damage points and probabilities on individual weapons. I'd rather just do upgrades and leave it at that. From what I've heard, it's more casual on that front which is good for me.

The lip-syncing is worse than the previous titles but the textures are higher resolution. I'm not really sure why it changed as they had a good thing going before but oh well. I would be disappointed but the multiplayer is a saving grace. I sunk hours into that just in the demo version so I'm probably going to sink hours more into it in the full game.

I personally think the combat interface is better. I feel more comfortable with it compared to ME1 and ME2. I wish the mods were little deeper though. They should bring back armor and omni-tool mods from the first game.

I wasn't sold on multiplayer at first but I was surprised at how fun it was. More mission types would be better though.

A not-so-good Mass Effect game is still better than 98% of other stuff (and 99.5% of RPGs).

I agree and dis-agree. Mass Effect was a story. Changing the details like the gender of Shepard or who lived and died at the end of Mass Effect 2 wasn't changing the story all that much. After all they do need some kind of cannon for the next time they visit the universe. It needed an ending.

I just delved into it. I'd disagree, a lot. It feels like a totally different animal in terms of how it plays and my only real complaint is that the character's body textures are still a little lacking.

Aside from that it looks better and plays better than the previous one. The voice acting is sink or swim but that's a granted in all video games, even the best ones.
