|
|
I need to buy some speakers for my computer, if I could connect them to my TV also that would be nice also. I had been looking at the Logitech z623 but reviews are so so and they are about 200k so I thought I would see if anybody had any recommendations. They will be used mainly for gaming/music.
Thanks! |

I got a set of Creative T3130's.
http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Inspire-T3130-2.1-Speakers/M/B002DWQU48.htm
Best bang for the buck speakers I've ever had. The subwoofer has good bass, enough to piss off my neighbors. Been using them for a couple years now. They sound pretty good for the price.
As a comparison, back in the US I had a set of Klipsch 2.1's.
I'm happy with my T3130's. Sure, there are better speakers out there. But these are pretty good for the money. |

| likewise very happy with my Logitech Z323 2.1 speakers...bass is solid, good clarity on music. great balanced set for the price and when the wife is getting annoyed its got a useful headphone jack in the front right speaker. if i remember correctly cost about 80-90,000won. whatever u do dont bother with britz..terrible sound. |

if you are willing to spend around 250k and want the absolute best computer speakers in the segment, look into the audioengine a2's. they can be found on gmarket. in my mind there is simply no other alternative.
no logitechs, creatives, altec lansings, bose etc will come close. and for the love of all that is good, don't even think about britz or the other crappy korean speakers.
note: they do not come with a sub but create more than enough bass on their own unless you are planning on throwing massive house parties. |

Thanks for all your inputs...
I might have to give those audioengine a2's a serious thinking about. The other ones I have come across that are crossing my mind are the M-Audio AV40's. You can get them on gmarket for 190k. I am just worried that they will not have much bass as I think they are more studio monitors but honestly in Korea, I don't think my neighbor's could deal with much bass in a villa!
I will never ever think about buying any Britz speakers, dont worry |

At that pricepoint, you might as well start building your own home theater system. |

i would also recommend that, if i were in america. the cost for quality home theatre components here are just ludicrous and would put you way past the cost of the speakers i recommended. plus in most apartments there is lack of space, thin walls and sensitive neighbors to contend with.
i used to use a 5.1 paradigm system back in the states, not so here. |

| Decided to go with the AV40's (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MAudioAV40.html). Heard good things about them but let you know how they turn out! |
