I found THG to be derivative of such previous fare as Logan's Run, The Running Man and even The Condemned. Skip it. |

Honestly, don't bother seeing it. I adore the books, but the movie moves so unbelievably slow that even I (who loves the story) was considering walking out. When I say slow, I mean Twilight: BreakingDawn Part 1 agonizing, horrible, slow |

I read on IMDB that it's twice as good as Twilight*, so the guy gave it 2 stars instead of one
The problem may be that you need to be under 16 to appreciate it, with all the lack of gore etc.
"Battle Royale", "Series 7", "Running Man" and "Logan's Run" are recommended viewing for the older crowd. I'll give it a shot after the Bluray rip appears online, and wait for "Prometheus".
*I tried and tried to give the latest "Twilight" a shot but apprently I'm neither young enough nor girl enough to watch more than the first 30 minutes. Not in the target audience. |
