				| I apologize if this has been asked before. The forum search function freezes on me, so I wasn't able to find the answer.
What is the procedure/fees/schedule for selling a private used car in Korea?
Basically how to transfer the title?

I'm trying to sell my old Hyundai.

				| You both must go to the DMV to transfer the title, especially if you are both foriegners. Depending on where you live, you may need a Korean to go with you to translate. You report the value as you need as the buyer must pay some tax on it and then a fee for changing over the registration and getting new plates. You both must have licences and proof of insurance. You both may need to go to immigration and get some proof of residency certificate to provide to the DMV. | |

				| I'll just throw in, having recently purchased a car, that buyer and seller can visit different offices separately to handle the transaction. However, the seller will be required to obtain and register one of those signature stamps. I wanted to purchase a car from a seller in Suwon as a buyer in Seoul, and our work schedules did not make visiting the office together very feasible. | |

				| You'll have more satisfaction accumulating speeding and parking tickets and driving in the bus lanes, then upon departure from Korea, driving to the airport and just leaving your car in the long-term parking lot. | |
