I wanted to know what difficulties one can expect to encounter if they are arriving in Korea a month after a visa was granted to them.

I had to care for an aunt who was suffering from pneumonia and had to delay my trip to start in Korea until a month after the the stamped visa was approved. My employer is fine but some have suggested I may have problems with getting my ARC card

You have to enter Korea before your visa expires - check the date on your visa.

You have to get your ARC within 90 days of arrival for Immigration purposes.

If you do those two things you will have no problems.

However, to be a legal teacher you need to get your ARC and supply a copy to your local Education Office within two weeks of your first day of working at your new school. Many teachers fail to make this deadline.
