| This probably calls for a wylde answer, but when I was hospitalized in Korea, there were no Western food option and yes, the meals were charged to me. |

the hankook hospital in suncheon charges 4370 won for a meal...
& yes... i'd say all hospitals charge for meals. they charge for everything.

I broke a bone here years ago and was charged for the meals- and I got a menu as well. This was at the Samsung Hospital.
IMO - they did a kick ass job taking care of me! I even expanded my dating circle as a result of my stay! |

I stayed at a Samsung hospital like Lush and i got a menu and the food was awesome. I got so much different food it was incredible.
I got billed for it. However, as a sidelight they decided to let me have my day rates for free as I talked to Korean to them.
So learning bad Korean was worth something I suppose. |

in seoul? is it big?
i can't speak for seoul but in mokpo and suncheon it was all the same. in gwangju i was nil by mouth til i left so i didn't get to even smell any food..
maybe bigger hospitals offer menus |
