Hey, all. Newbie here again.

Is anyone familiar with the Little Fox Language Center franchise?

I've been trying to search for info, and there isn't much available. What I've found seems to be positive, so I'm certainly hopeful, but I just wanted to do what I can to play it safe.

So.. Has anyone here had any experience with them? If so, how would you rate 'em?

funny, their name always makes me smile, but don't know anything more.

have received numerous offers from them in the past when job-seeking but somehow something more substantial always came along soon after and I never followed up.

maybe for you too then? good luck! Laughing

Maybe. I've had plenty of responses to my resume (all offering the same pay and whatnot), but something along the lines of gut instinct is indicating that this one is right for me.

...while my "gut instinct" rarely fails me, I'm trying to get as much info as I can to make an informed decision, as this would probably be one of the worst times for it to fail me. Laughing

well post their offer over in the contract sticky and let's see what they have put on the table - you can let us know over here also when you post it if you want more feedback

Yeah, that's one of the few sites I found that has any sort of information about 'em. I'm looking at a different location than that one, but it might be possible that the overarching company has set procedures or something which might make their branches operate in a similar fashion. So maybe the rating applies.

I'd just like to know a little more so I'm not going in quite as blindly. (I've also asked to be put in contact with the teacher I'd be replacing.)

When I get a contract, I will. Can't enter that stage of talks until my background check clears. At this point, I'm just planning ahead.

Have a friend that works at one. Likes it there. Standard 1pm - 8pm kind of job with 5 forty-five min classes per day depending on studetn numbers. Kind of place though where each center will differ depending on the director. Best to check it out in person and get a feel for it. Always contact the current or past foriegn teacher.

That's what I'm planning.

From the e-mail:

-The normal work days are from Monday to Friday.
Current class times - 2:30 pm~ 7:30pm(Mon, Wed, Fri), 2:30~9:10(Tue, Thu)

(Teachers are supposed to come to school by 1:30 to prepare the classes)

From the interview, I'd be handling classes of ranging from 8 to 15 students.

You'll be describing the group of humans you'll be teaching. Wink

(Not my opinion, but I bet you WILL think it at least twice over the course of a year...!)
