Yeah it is. Not in the sense of profit/loss, but in the sense that if you can't afford them you shouldn't have them. |
Well that is different.
Figure out if you can afford to support a baby financially is one thing...basing your decision to be parents on some sort of fiscal analysis is quite another thing!

IMO too many people make major decisions such as childbearing and marriage without going through the numbers. You'll run through the numbers when you buy a car, why would you not do the same for kids? Your car doesn't even get exponentially more expensive as it gets older. |
