@No_hite_pls

all I was saying was that comparing two very different countries with very different demographics is unfair. I'm sorry you find that concept hard to grasp. If you want to compare the USA with China or India that's at least fair since that have more comparable demographics. I have no vested interest in the US, I'm not American, and I don't really care if you hate it.

It's like comparing crime in Los Angeles (3.8 million) to crime in Arviat (1800), sure you can spout per capita facts 'til your blue in the face, it doesn't prove much when you're comparing a huge multi-ethnic community of millions to an outpost of handful scientists and Inuit families. Personally I feel this is the same difference between the US (300 million) and Liechtenstein (36,000). Notice that by percent of population Arviat is 0.04% of LA and Liechtenstein is 0.01% of the USA's population. Now if you still think your per capita data means something, by all means continue talking out of your ass. As for me... I'm done with this conversation.

BTW bud, I love America and I am American. I just hate how the neo-cons/republicans have destroyed it.

I think when the people found out they can draw money from the country's treasury in exchange for votes (Democrats) it ruined America. The Dems have created a hand-out entitled voting base and it is collapsing the economic foundation (Obama) of the country. The Repubs aren't angels either, they make backroom deals too, but the Dems it seems have gone out of their way with this last regime to bring America down and don't even try to hide it.

Yes, because comparing the US and Liechtenstein is perfectly legit. The US is the 4th largest country in the world by land mass, and one of the largest by population. Liechtenstein is smaller than Rhode Island (roughly 5% of the size and 3.5% of the population). But yeah, it definitely a fair comparison. Also consider that there are no large urban centres in Liechtenstein (Vaduz, the largest municipality, is around 5000 people) statistically you tend to find more crime occurs in the large urban areas of the US. Please stop comparing apples to oranges, sure their both fruit and a good sources of vitamin C, but the comparison starts to wear a bit thin beyond that.

Well, population density has very little to do with it. The US has more people in jail that China and India, the two most populated countries in the world last time I checked (in fact, the US has a larger prison population than that of all countries in the world combined).

Some would blame the prison industrial complex.

Indeed. Congress sucks. It isn't a Dem vs. Republican thing. Dodge7, the GOP (and Bush) passed a prescription drug bill that was a bigger fiscal boondoggle than anything Obama's done. At least the Dems aren't as hypocritical as the Republicans! Smile The only reason Republican politicians have become defecit hawks now (minus a few non-hypocrites such as Coburn, who always has harped on about it) is they don't control the WH or Senate. If they were to win control of Congress and the WH in November, they wouldn't be any more frugal with gov't spending than the current administration, they'd just blow money on different things.

LOL! Obama has spent more on pure crap in the name of "stimulating" that couldn't even jump start a car, and has SPENT MORE money than ALL previous Presidents COMBINED.

we were attacked. If he didn't go to war, I'd push for impeaching him.

Seriously though, Iraq didn't attack us.

Saddam had it coming, he defied the UN and we had to take preemptive measures so he didn't nuke all of Israel or the US. He was a crazy man, he could have done it. That was why we went in...why we stayed, I don't know. We should have gotten out a lot sooner than we did. I'm not ruling our ulterior motives for going into Iraq, afterall, ALL politians are crooks. That's my view, if you don't agree, sorry.

You're entitled to your opinion, but last time I checked, you need nukes in order to nuke someone... Regardless, the fact that Iraq never attacked the US really pokes a hole in the "we were attacked first" garbage.

Based on your logic Dodge there are many other leaders " who have it coming to them" but did George Bush invade North Korea / Sudan / Somalia / Libya / Iran / Syria / Cuba ? NO.. Please explain why ?

You claim Saddam is a crazed man and I agree 100%, I also think that George Bush is equally if not more crazed to be honest.
As someone else mentioned, Iraq did not attack you and they did not have the capability to " nuke Israel or the US" as you claim.
