Will my interface or game language change if I switch regions?
Your game language and interface will remain the same when you change regions. If you purchased the full-language version of Diablo III, you will be able to play in all available languages in all regions. To play in a different language, you will first need to download the Diablo III game client for that language from Battle.net.
If you purchased the Korean, Russian-language-only, traditional-Chinese-language-only, or another language-limited version of Diablo III, you will only be able to switch to the languages youve purchased. You will, however, be able to play in all three game regions using the language you purchased. Note that the Korean-language client does not contain the real-money auction house inferface. |
Nice how they updated this AFTER you purchased the game. Keep sending tickets, keep complaining. |

This is odd. My Korean co-workers can change their region to the Americas to coop with me, and I can just as easily change to Asia. |

Change Region-yes, Language-no
They are playing in the same region but the game will be in Korean for them even on NA servers. |

just an fyi, if you already paid for d3 global version and want to play in a pc bang, just bring the us client file which is pretty small (around 30mb?) on a usb drive and run it on the machine you choose. it's quick and easy and before you know it you'll have d3 in english with the ability to play on any server. |

I can absolutely confirm that just downloading the American client does not work. When you try to login, you get an error because the client "does not match your account's setting".
Also, I should point out that I have a US battle.net account, and no difference.
I finally did get word from Blizzard. He first tried to tell me to try the U.S. client (which I already had), then to take it to the store for a refund (but honestly, I have never heard of a store accepting already opened software for a refund, especially since these days you can get the whole game just fine with just a license number and never touch the disc.)
When I told him these would not work and I would like a refund, he told me that I would have to contact battle.net Korea and submit a ticket to them. But it would likely have to be in Korean, which would mean I would need a friend's help.
He did sympathize with me and said he believed me when I told him there was no indication on the box that it was Korean only.
I can understand the limitation of the real money auction house, but it's dumb to limit the game's language to Korean. It'd be like a game in the U.S. where Spanish is absolutely available, but the game sold in the U.S. was English only. |

you need to have the global version of the game purchased, which you can do easily on battle.net. if you made the mistake of purchasing the korean-only version, the us client will do nothing for you.
if you want to play in a pcbang follow these steps.
1. buy the global version on battle.net
2. download the us client and put it on a usb drive
3. go to pc bang
4. open the client.
5. wait for the download to finish. if your local pcbang is anything like mine it saves those files on the local pc you choose even if it doesn't show it, and if you go to that same machine later, steps 3-4 go waaaay faster.
6. profit. |

Apparently, you can get a refund within 30 days. I recommend that for anyone who bought the Korean version and wants to play in English, as Blizz seems to have their hands full and aren't addressing the problem. |
