|
|
If you watch TV, you know who I'm talking about. Like a circus animal, she goes on all of these different Korean TV shows and yaps in the most annoying voice you could ever imagine.
She knows Korean, props to her.
But the VOICE. Please God, the VOICE!!
Let it go away!!!!!! |

I don't know if this show is still around, but you should see the "Chatting with Beauties". She probably was a regular on that. |

I heard her on the radio once while I was in a taxi. Worst taxi ride ever.
Apparently she's married to some A or B list K-celeb, which probably helps her get on all these shows. |

She's married to a Korean conductor I think.
Does anyone have any clips of her? I have an Italian colleague who really wants to see her! |

Worst voice ever. Still, if she keeps getting TV companies to pay her money to appear on whatever stupid variety show is on this hour, then good for her. Everyone's got to make a living. |

lol I just feel bad for her husband who has to listen to that burden to the ears everyday. I would have told her she needs to tone it down or I would have never married her. |

I wish all those airheads would get lost! I don't give a damn about thier language ability. The shows strike me as very very shallow. |

I agree, but Koreans think her voice is cute! her voice is what gets her on all the tv shows
there are far prettier girls out there who speak korean better than her, who were also on chatting with beauties, but because of her unique voice she become more in demand. Koreans think she is cute! hahahahaha
don't expect her to go away anytime soon. |

I've seen the Italian girl do her loud over-the-top reactions and observations on TV, with her girlfriends. Not as bad as Isaac, but still annoying.
It seems like on all those Korean shows, the goal is to act as over-the-top as you can as you can, so they can triple and quadruple splice your reaction.
Ex: Korean girl does a sexy dance.
Guy 1: "wha!"
Guy 2: "wha!"
Guy 3: "WAAAAAAAA!" (different angle) "WAAAAAAAA!" (different angle) "WAAAAAAAA!" |

I don't know about that. I know a few Koreans who hate her voice as much as I do. I believe her success has more to do with her being an attractive (until she opens her mouth anyway) foreigner with a good grasp of the language. |

She isn't putting anything on, nor is she scoring gigs because she is married to a a/b list celeb.
Her husband is a little known Korean opera singer, besides "speaking loudly" in Korean, she is also an Italian language professor and I think international law lecturer as well. And is the manager of Seoul Global Center Yeoksam. |

So we have her to thank for all the cultural events schedules for like 2 pm on a Tuesday? |
