| I saw it 9 rounds to 3 for Pacman. He hurt Bradley, threw many more power punches. To say Bradley 'won' the fight is a joke. |

Having not had the chance to actually have viewed the thing, I'll side with the overwhelming chorus in favor of Pacman for the sake of discussion.
Topic being- Why in God's name did they gift Bradley?
If it was so obvious, what motive drove them to lose so much credibility and damage prospects for a Mayweather-Pac showdown?
Everyone knows a Mayweather fight is where the megabucks are, enough for everyone to gorge on and still have enough leftover for $100 tips to bellhops and ho's.
The highlights do show that Pac caught Bradley with a coupla lefts, but nothing totally convincing. Again, I'll have to see the thing in its entirety, but if he's still got it you'd reckon he'd a just destroyed Bradley to leave no doubt. That he wasn't able to leaves doubt in my mind whether he really merits a fight with Mayweather on his (Pac's) financial terms (a cut of TV revenues), as Mayweather (let's face it) is levels above Bradley.
Man, Mayweather may has well hop into the ring and destroy Pac just to clear the air and be done with it. |

I've heard Teddy Atlas state (on ESPNs Friday Night Fights) that he did not think that Pacqaio-Mayweather would happen because Bob Arum wouldn't be able to make enough profit after having to pay huge purses to the fighters.
Although the crafty Arum joined the bandwagon of critics who blasted the decision - after disingenuously admitting that he would make a lot of money on the rematch - it's pretty clear what the motivation was for fixing the fight (and that Arum didn't major in ethics while at Harvard Law School).

Mayweather would last 2-3 rounds gainst Pacman before the ground and you know it. Bradley is a good fighter and thats what he did. Pacman is a supreme greater fighter and that's what he did. shame on the judges of that fight...shame on them. they wronged boxing and tried to pull a fast one on us fans...sorry, we were watching, we were watching and saw Pacquiao win that fight. shame on them... |

| I'm no expert on boxing but I've always had a feeling that Mayweather is a bit afraid of Pacman, if I'm wrong feel free to correct me. Having said that, and liking a good conspiracy, could this be a possibility? Since Bradley "won" the title, that could set up a Bradley/Mayweather fight. I'm pretty sure most everyone would say Mayweather would win that bout. Now you get your Pacman/Mayweather fight and the promoters can make their money, as they can pay Pacman less saying he doesn't deserve a champions money as he is no longer a title holder. |

Just think...who has the most to gain by a Pacquiao loss and a mandatory rematch? That would be the crook who promotes both Bradley and Pacman...Bob Arum.
Just because he is claiming that the decision was a travesty, don't be fooled. He's just covering his butt.
He is the one preventing a Pacman/Mayweather fight over tremendously bad blood with Mayweather (who he used to promote).
I love boxing so much...just wish it wasn't so corrupt.
All you have to do is watch the fight round by round and compare each round with the judge's scorecards to plainly see the fix was in.
What a joke! |
