When Korea changed the rules a year or two ago (national criminal record check for Americans, apostilled degree), did they start keeping the records in their system?
I'm trying to figure out what documents I need and if staying another semester is worth getting them. |

IF immigration has your FBI check (with apostille) on file you do NOT need another one for a renewal (extension of your status of sojourn).
The SAME is true for your degree (if they have a notarized copy with apostille on file you are good).
The POE should accept immigration issued copies at renewal time (it looks like they want them annually for some unknown reason).

Different status of sojourn (new visa) means NEW documentation.
