Wow~ this thread is so interesting and ridiculous... Women are pretty normal, I think... we're not some crazy mystery to be solved... I think a lot of you guys would like the show "The Pickup Artist" where a guy named Mystery wore a pimp hat and told guys that being jerk-offs to women was what it took to score a hottie...

Also, money isn't the factor that you guys think it is... Financial security is one thing~ I wouldn't want to be with a man whose phone was ringing off the hook because of debt collectors, or where I didn't know from one day to the next whether the electricity was going to be cut off, but super rich guys? More trouble than they're worth.

Common interests are important, and common belief systems as well, (for me, at least). Someone who is kind and who wants to spend time with you~ (I don't understand why guys think being a-holes is a turn-on) and someone you can laugh with and have a good time around. Someone who takes care of themselves and who loves you for who you are. Further down the road you'll need to see what his family is like, what your future goals entail, babies or no babies, and so on. Being on the same page and being honest are also great things in a relationship~ The rest are just personal preferences.

Tall, short, blonde, brunette, red-headed, super-fit, lean, pudgy, sport-lover, animal-lover, stoner, straight-edge, blah-blah-blah~ everyone has their own preferences and there's no perfect style that all girls love.

This was so funny to read, but at the same time, sad.

This is just like you are responsible for making money and support the family, I am responsible for looking pretty like the flowers. For example, I am going to demand you with my ability of making money. If you make 2000 a month, dont expect her to have size 36 c cup chest, or 168cm-170cm tall, that is not realistic.

A lot of women feel this way... they feel that they should not earn lots of money because it is not their role, or because they can't/shouldn't. It's a very conservative notion, and one I've heard a lot... "your job is to sit there and look pretty."

I really liked this quote: In my mind, I can afford whatever I want to buy and I can afford whatever I want to eat , I think thats enough.

This is what most people feel secure with... what matters is what they want to buy and what they want to eat. If you're happy because you have the money to go to a nice restaurant every so often, and you are happy because you can buy a nice outfit sometimes, then you're doing well... If you are looking to buy a Birkin bag without even looking at the price tag and want to eat lobsters at every meal, then that's where you're looking at gold-digging, unless you are personally wealthy already.

Some of those women, especially 2, 7 and 9 need to get a grip on reality. Even bearing in mind the imbalance among the sexes in China, they don't look like they have any grounds to be laying down the law about the financial status of potential future partners. As man 3 says, 'what do you have that I have to have a house and a car?'

Well, I'm only 5 feet tall, and nearing 30, but if it weren't for those, I'd have scored nearly 3000. Some guys like short gals, though, and the hubby did meet me years ago...

Still, I didn't marry him for money. I married him because he was (and is) my best friend.

Gentle and lovely +100
Knows how to care for you +100
Never took sticker pictures 200

I like how being gentle, lovely, and caring can be negated by never having taken sticker pictures. Laughing

Indeed (though I took sticker pictures when I was a kid.)

It's a pretty silly rating system. A real test of a woman is how many camels she's worth. I'm worth about 60, with several goats and sheep as well.

I've got about an even ratio between male and female friends. Maybe 60% male, 40% female.

but that was before Twiggy and definately before the advent of the Age of the Stripmall Megafauna.

Women like money. You don't need scientific experiments to prove that. You just need a picture of Bernie Ecclestone.

Haha. This! - unfortunately

That's not what they want, but rather what they settle for when they can't get what they want. Makes them wanna go buy shoes to forget how much their loveless life sucks.

But almost all dudes are programmed with that thing: go be a working robot and attain financial success so you can have a chick. Especially in societies like the USA and Korea. I don't buy into that crap.

Women care more about race than money:

"The results are striking. An African-American man would have to earn $154,000 more than a white man in order for a white woman to prefer him. A Hispanic man would need to earn $77,000 more than a white man, and Asian man would need, remarkably, an additional $247,000 in additional annual income.

"So do women value ethnicity over income in a mate? They certainly seem too. If income was the more important factor in mate choice these numbers would be small; it would take very little additional income to entice a woman to date a man of a different race. The fact that the numbers are so large suggests that a mans race is significantly more important that his income."

I think many women want men to be kind, giving in bed, occasionally funny, not drink every night and give them attention, kisses, hugs and all that other crap.

But most of all piles of cold, hard cash.
