I bow down to you, dear sir. Still, do check out the farmers' markets in NY. They are pretty great. The Union Square one is the biggest, but there are many others that work on a rotational schedule. I used to go all the way uptown for fresh, wild strawberries. Yum! |

As you are so gracious in defeat, I shall admit I have never actually eaten a pie in New York. I'm from the Appalachians though a little further north.
I have eaten pizza all over Italy. In my experience Rome's is the worst (I may have just had bad luck with pizza places.) So far the best is in Naples; I haven't quite made it to the southernmost extremities of the country or Sicily yet. |

You have some of the best water in the states, dear sir! My friend's family owns 126 acres in the mountains, and have their own glacial water spring from the side of a cliff. We used to visit every summer and return home with huge water jugs full of the stuff.
You should really head to Brooklyn or Staten Island for some awesome pizza, though. You may very well prefer the original Italian, but the NYC style is pretty amazing, and I'm sure that, if not first, it would be your second choice. I prefer it, myself, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion, unless it's for Chicago pizza. Blergh!

| I never had New York style pizza in New York, but I did have Chicago style pizza in Chicago. I thought it was pretty damn good. |

I didn't realize that enjoying pure water was funny.

Yeah, I was joking. It's good, though I usually don't want to eat that much bread in one sitting!
Either way, sorry I derailed the thread. I haven't been to NYC in over 2 years, and I'm leaving on a visit this weekend, so I'm kind of psyched about having pizza and bagels within walking distance of my parents' house. |

The novelty is kind of endearing when you've grown up with well water. My family is from the city, in any case, so I mean it good-naturedly. |

| I want to take this moment to thank my ancestors for perfecting kimchi. Sure we call it sauerkraut and it tastes a bit different, but nonetheless it was great that they were able to perfect something that came from some far away land (China). |

There's a shooting range in Daegu~ It was HUGE and super expensive to shoot there... They also had lessons, shooting teams, clay plate shooting, target shooting, and handguns~ @.@ Also, I think your avatar is way too appropriate for that post ^.^

LOL~ I told my bf that sauerkraut was vinegar-kimchi and coleslaw was mayonnaise-kimchi ^.^;; |
