Toronto cops are the most incompetent thugs I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Good luck with fixing something like a gun problem lol. |

Toronto does not have a "gun violence" problem inasmuch as it has a third-world immigrant problem. Mostly Jamaicans.

I'm not racist. Canada is full of NDP, Liberal, & Green party members who are too politically correct to acknowledge the real issue: The more third-world immigrants brought to Canada, the more like the third world Canada will become.
List of shootings in Toronto. All but one were perpetrated by blacks.

I don't know why this is. I repeat: these are facts. I'm not racist. |

Crime in Toronto has been relatively low for a very long period of time; the low crime rate in Toronto has resulted in the city having a reputation as one of the safest large cities in North America. Recent data from Statistics Canada shows that crime has been falling steadily in Toronto's census metropolitan area since 1998, a total drop of 33% for all crimes reported between the period of 19982008.[1]
For comparisons to various cities in North America, in 2007 for example, the homicide rate for the city of Toronto was 3.3 per 100,000 people, yet for Detroit (33. , Atlanta (19.7), Chicago (15.5), San Francisco (13.6), Boston (10.3) and New York City (6.3) it was higher, while it was only marginally lower in Vancouver (3.1), San Jose (2.9) and Montreal (2.6). Toronto's robbery rate also ranks low, with 207.1 robberies per 100,000 people, compared to Detroit (675.1), Chicago (588.6), Los Angeles (348.5), Vancouver (266.2), New York City (265.9), Montreal (235.3) and San Diego (158. |

Toronto is about as dangerous as Seoul statically speaking. Actually I would guess that Toronto is actually safer than Seoul because in Korean many crimes are not reported. |

Of course it is a gun problem. More powerful weapons are making their way on the steet. Is there really a need for automatic hand guns? |

Bullshit. Handguns have been around in Canada since the country's inception. In fact, fully automatic weapons used to be legal.
The gun apparently used recently in Toronto was a pretty standard glock 9mm.
No, this is not a gun problem. It's a person problem. It's a third-world culture problem. I own about a dozen handguns, but the difference is I am not a criminal.
Why are a majority of shootings in Toronto perpetrated by recently arrived Jamaicans? Not Koreans. Not Punjabs. Not Filipinos. Jamaicans. Why is this so difficult for the CBC to discuss? |

Silence you! Multiculturalism is a strength, not a weakness.

Seriously though, I don't think the Canadian government or media is ever going to entertain thoughts about closing their borders. Canada is starting to resemble a 3rd world country in many respects and rather than sticking around I chose to leave. Things are only getting worse from what I hear. |
