Relaxing on a sunny Sunday in the park with your woman, having a picknick, and drinking a beer is great.

Please, can't stop a cultural heritage/trait. Like the little dutch boy with his finger in the dam. It works in the States 'cause at the very formation of that nation, public drinking was outlawed if not frowned upon.
Try doing that here? The U.S. beef uproar will look like paddy-cake. |

You either live or work in Hongdae. You don't like people drinking in public, yet you, as a foreigner, have chosen to come to live and work in Korea, and you chose Hongdae. The place of all places in Korea that you chose to move from your home country to work, was Hongdae, the most famous night club and drinking area in Korea. Hongdae.

Yes, moving drinking from in a park to inside buildings will stop people from being drunk. I agree with your impeccable logic here.

Do you have any evidence for this? Can you show that a single poster on Dave's Cafe has complained about Korea restricting smoking and drinking on one thread and complained about Koreans smoking and drinking too much on another? because if you can't show any real proof I think people will tend to assume that one set of posters complains about Koreans drinking and smoking too much and a different group of posters complains about the restrictions on these activities. |

last I heard driving on sidewalks and not wearing a helmet was illegal LOL
