why was my comment removed? i wasn't condemning anyone. just the opposite, actually, and i was referring to a factual incident in history. what is this, 1984?

and you left the actual condemning remarks alone. that's hilarious. i've only met one "gyopo" (? what does that mean, Korean American?) since having been here and they were from LA and completely normal/fun. i have nothing to do with the bigoted comments on this forum, and i don't mind your official denouncement of such comments. but seriously, to delete the one comment that was completely NOT a condemnation? what is that?

Your comment was removed for the swear filter dodging (a violation of the TOS). Next time, PM me to discuss any issue you have with the moderation of this website. It is a violation of the TOS to call out a moderator on this forum (that's two).

My decision to clean this thread was called for by numerous reports made by users and I wanted the thread to return to the original topic, not a discussion of gyopo (yes, Korean-American) behavior. Your post, not only used inappropriate language, but also was not connected to the original topic of the thread and fed into the direction the thread was going.

For the Mod Team,
Koharski

Hope Steve recovers fully..And I'll keep my eyes and ears open see. Also, if there are any casino goers around here, my bet is that those places could be a hang out for those types of dudes. I'm not saying all scum bags hang out there, but if you've been to a casino before, y'all know what I'm getting at. And if steve can give us any other clue about the description of his face, even tell us he looks like some celebrity, that would be a huge help in locating this guy.

OP,
Why don't you maintain your thread a little better?
Give us some updates on Steve, and on finding his assailant.

First off, I don't know Steve personally. I just saw this on Facebook, which I highly recommend you look at for updates. (my first post)

For those too lazy to click the link,

The Facebook group has pictures of Steve, never said there were pictures of the assailant.

It also says that Steve has recovered well from surgery and there have been numerous (anonymous) tips.

For any updates if you are concerned about this story or want to contribute please refer to the facebook group page that had been circulating.

You can probably search for it (or check my link) "please help Steve"

I also want to say that I am deeply disappointed in some of the posts in this thread bashing gyopos or basically not contributing positively.

Again, Dave's is built off the goodwill and hard work of positive contributing people. Trolling and bashing just perpetuates poor stereotypes.

Thanks to anyone who contributed to Steve's plight in a positive manner.
