My recruiter or should I say recruiters are not responding to me and I am still confused about the visa process. I received my apostilled degree back today. I sent my criminal background check to the US Department of State to be apostilled but I am reading different things online about it. Although it's a little too late, I need to know - is it absolutely necessary to have my CBC notarized to get an apostille? My CBC did have a seal and signature from a division officer if that helps. Is it true it could take up to 12 weeks to get my apostilled CBC back if I didn't send it through a special service? (And no, I didn't). Also, after I do get my apostilled CBC back, what do I need to do next?
