|
|
hi,
how much would it be for a korean locksmith to 1. gain access to a locked apartment and 2. to change the lock (its the standard lock that's inside the handle knob)
Also, I assume they are usually available short notice?
Thanks |

Lock yourself out?
Otherwise, if you do not own the apt then changing the locks might land you in trouble.... |

Well locked out, but I didn't lock it and the uni are saying they didn't (it's a keypad normally). my uni owns the apt. I will probably ask them to do it, just don't want to get back to korea with all my baggage and be locked out. |

I did it a few times over the years. Lazy about putting new batteries in, and had to pay for it
During the day, it cost me 70~80.
3am it cost me 200,000 won
Scary part is, none of guys ever never asked me for any id
Edit: "...none of the guys ever..."

| If you live in an apartment that has the guards, chances are good that they have extra keys. |

There are guards actually...do they really have keys? That's pretty worrying lol.
It's not the keypad that's the problem, it's the physical key lock on the handle of the door. |

Well if you do not own the apt, then your employer or the landlord will have an extra key. That is normal and can pretty much solve your problem. |

| Wouldn't it be cheaper to get a love hotel for the night and contact your landlord when he is awake and around? |
