Does anybody know about this with regards to transferring an E2 Visa, apparently immigration is telling my new employer I need to give them a tax certificate.

My current employer however is telling me that they do not have any certificate like this.

I already have a stamped LOR and such from my current emplyer so what is the issue with this tax form as I have never seen mention of it before.

Also if worst case scenario, the tax my employer has been deducting from my salary hasn't actually found its way to the taxman am I screwed?
