Yeah, because Obama is a fervent peace-monger.

Best of the worst.

I loved how the mainstream Republicans at the convention would yell the "USA USA USA" chant at Ron Paul supporters.

I wish I could say I'm surprised, but... Rolling Eyes Do you happen to have a link to a video of this?

I checked youtube but could only find random news clips.
I believe it was when the Maine delegates were walking out in protest.

I was on the floor at the time, and I saw these party leaders chairing the convention simply ignore points of order and objections. They also ruled that the Ayes had won a voice vote when the Noes pretty clearly shouted louder. Its hard to get more undemocratic than simply making up the results of a floor vote.

It's all in your perspective...or maybe geographical location.

If you are standing next to someone shouting, he sounds a lot louder than the 15 guys standing across the gym shouting against him.

I remember last January when you were not 'impressed' about the chaos in the Iowa primary vote. Couldn't be bothered, as I recall.

The RP people went on to steal (fair and square, as TR said about Panama) the vast majority of delegates, even though it had nothing to do with the real proportion of the voters from any of the states that RP captured. Yes, you can sometimes do that.

It is naive (hey, we stole 'em fair and square!) or stupid to then complain when the majority reclaims their rights to majority representation. Unfortunately for the RP libertarian wing, they are not as good at politics as the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks were really the minority but named themselves the majority (that is what Bolsheviks means) and forced the majority to accept the name Menshiviks (minority). Perhaps Sharonn Angle was right: it's time for 2nd Amendment solutions.

I was a little bit disappointed that the RP faction didn't actually 'do' something besides stomp out in a tantrum.

When are libertarians going to accept that they have chosen to be in a coalition with neo-con permanent war hegemonists and theocon loonies?
