I was planning to stay in Korea over Chuseok, but now I'm considering heading out of the country if I can find a reasonable flight. I've been looking at Skyscanner and a lot of the reasonable flights I've found are through Top Travel. If you click through to their site, it's a typical Korean website that I'll need a Korean to help me figure out.
I'm just wondering if any of you have booked tickets through them, and if so, how were they? I assume you get some kind of e-ticket, right? Anything else I need to know about them?
Thanks |

I'd use Top Travel or Onlinetour.co.kr for flights originating from Korea. Their interface and procedures are somewhat similar, but you might need to get used to if you've been using, say, Skyscanner, Orbits, Kayak and whatnot.
The biggest difference you must be aware of, nevertheless, is that the 'ticket prices' quoted on both websites (and that goes for most other Korean flight booking engines) are pre-airport tax, pre-fuel surcharge. Depending on routes, those extras can be just as much as airfare itself. Make sure you pay attention to adjacent column and/or icons next to quoted fares for add-on charges. |
