Elementary and high schools closed today in Busan.
My hagwon is not opening this afternoon - rare.
From my apartment window - pieces of loose roof are flying off - wind gusts and rain are intense. Definitely more intense than Bolaven. Though, having spent time in Wellington, New Zealand, this is a typical gusty winters day down there! |

It's been raining all morning around Seoul, They're calling for heavy rain all afternoon and night. Is anyone else going home early today in GEPIKland? |

Just seems to be a lot of rain in Seoul. Classes are still running as normal. |

Haha! I am from Wellington and yes, this is like a normal 'breezy' day.
I am glad that the government is being responsible about closing schools, though. You never know if something like this will turn nasty. I thought they might not close schools after Bolaven turned out to be not such a big deal. |

Looks like Bolaven was the worst of them this year. I guess you've all seen the meme so I won't repeat it here. I assume all that happened was that the other chair fell over. |

Yeah.. landslide destroys a house and kills a woman..nothing more than a lawnchair..
morons. |
So what?
Really, so what? Do you cry each time someone falls off a ladder?
If you can't understand why people laugh at an averted disaster (and a broken home and a dead lady do not make a disaster for most people), you lack some very basic understanding for human nature. |

A lady dies and you say so what? Looks like your human nature is f@cked up. Gotta love you typhoon trolls haha. |

You really want to argue about this? A lady dies, a bag of rice is spilled in China, so what? I have absolutely no connection to "a lady" or "a house". Someone has and they're affected, but so are many other people who had such experiences unrelated to this typhoon. Someone's grandfather dies, so what?
You clearly have no clue about the subtleties of humour, or human nature, or the human way of coping with disaster. Don't pretend that you care a second for "a lady", you're just here to argue, in a trollish way. |

Can you enlighten us as to exactly what you are doing for this lady and her family? Did you send money? Are you going to the funeral? Are you lending comfort to the bereaved? |

On average, "a lady" dies 80,000 times every day, or about one per second (that's not the same lady all over of course, if you excuse my lack of precision in the statement).
I really don't believe that it makes me a cold hearted person if I don't care for the vast majority of them, or the nearly equal number of "a man". |
