This is good advice. I did the same. Mailing directly to the State Department can cause another huge delay. However, I don't recommend using Apostille Pros. Their price is a real ripoff. There are others who will do it for a fraction of Apostille Pro's fee. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the online company I used. It was a lot cheaper and worked perfectly.
Update- Here, I found it. The company I used was:

They charge only $37. You yourself pay for the postage of your choice. Even opting for FedEx for both submission and return, I think my total was still around $80-90. Apostille Pros charges an outrageous $275. I have no vested interest in this company. I'm just saying that for me they were effective, fast, easy, and cheap. |
