thanks for all your advice thus far!

I want to update you on how i have got on since you have invested a small amount in me with your comments.

I have discovered that upon signing off at the job centre, I can get a back-to-work bonus, which is �100. so that on top of whatever my last payment would have been, is a good start.
I have something that i am still preparing for sale, that should bring me about �150-200
I tried to sell my camera but the guys messed me around. I was looking at around �120 for it, but i may need to sell privately.
I have a book that is priced at �70 minimum on amazon. I can sell that on there for �60 and probably sell quickly.

I may be able to get my employment advisor to pay for my criminal records check and academic notorising and apostilling. although my first enquiry led to them telling me I had to have an actual job offer before they pay for anything. since you guys have advised that i have the paperwork done before applying for a job, I will explain fully in my appointment today. hopefully they will bend the rules.

I want to go before December ideally so I don't know how likely that will be. I imagine there may be competition for any positions that crop up mid-term.
