| Thanks for a good question denverdeath! The xbox was bought in Korea so it is region 3, but it can play both the NTSC as well as well as NTSC J games. |

some games, like nhl 13, cant be played. at least they'd b able to play nhl 12 as ea made the us/c one region-free last yr - better than playing the '07 version anyway, which was the only option for quite some time. ur right though, many games will b able to b played without issue. |
