I think there is no doubt about what actions one would take back home.
Think about how many women a doctor like this can intimidate, manipulate
and take advantage of in the course of just one year.
I agree that reporting such things here would likely be met with you being
blamed and accused, not him. That is ingrained in the mindset; foreigner=aways wrong.
I don't feel anyone is served by keeping it a secret that he behaves this way.
I also don't think public slander will be of much use, except amongst your
closest friends.
As a counselor, you might write a letter to him explaining what the consequences of his actions would be in your country, what lines he has crossed, and perhaps ask how he would feel if the tables were turned.
Definitely not much chance for contrition or sincere personal reflection.
It is simply not in the culture to take responsibility for ones actions. |

Wow, you've been in Korea for how long and you still haven't learned how to answer this question. You never say this. You always say you have other plans. It just amazes me at the lack of cultural competence on this board. |
Exactly. You ALWAYS say you have plans when someone asks you a what are you doing type question. |

This happened about 8 years ago, when I was still learning the ropes.
By the way, I left Korea about 2 and a half years ago. |

You'd need some pretty solid evidence for that to happen. Either that or reports from multiple unconnected parties.
As for the OP, just find another doctor. Preferably a female doctor. |

Yeah this happens all the time in KR, to Koreans too.
Who cares, at least you are getting personal attention, try getting THAT in the US medical system! If you don't like it find a different doctor. |
