I started playing golf here in Korea so I am just guessing. It seems there is a social aspect to golf for us foreigners that is missing if you can't speak Korean.
Lots of cheap practice. If you plan on playing you will have to book, and that is not easy. Most courses require a foursome. Tee off can be as early as 5.30am.
I'm looking forward to playing more when I return to the west. |

Thanks for the info. Lots of good stuff here.
It seems golf is only financially viable for CEO's or the upper crust.
So no networking with your principal, bc he/she probably wouldn't be able to afford anyway ? lol |

| Bring your clubs if you're planning on vacationing to China, Thailand, etc. Golf is much cheaper in parts of these countries, I think. |
