The SOB ripped me off for big $$$... I am out of the ROK... how can I contact immigration?

Immigration won't give a red rat's rectum about your ex boss.

You should put some information on the Tokyojon web site though.

Perhaps you could use the online e-People service to report your boss to the labor board:

However, if there is a hearing you'd have to have a friend in Korea represent you.

You should've handled it when you were still in-country. Not much you can do out of country, in my opinion.

What exactly would Immigration do? They don't control or regulate hakwons. They only issue a visa to work there and their only concern would be with issues relating to said visa.

Being ripped off is not a visa issue and Immigration won't care. That falls under the purview of the labor board and yes...it's going to be a lot harder to get it fixed when you are out of country.

I should have added that I know he has used illegal workers and prob still is.

Just remember that if you were also an illegal worker at some point with that employer you are burning your Korean bridge behind you should you even want to return.
