So there's no smoking allowed there?
That's awesome. Smoking is disgusting. |

Place is okay. Most of the taps are local microbrews. I tried several and wasn't exactly impressed. Nice bottled beer list. Kitchen isn't open yet--next week, I guess. Generic atmosphere/not much character. Fine, though.
Same owners as Rocky Mountain Tavern and Wolfhound, apparently. |

Wait for the "aroma" of 2 years of puke and piss to settle in and see if you long for the wafting scent of tobacco. |

Went there last night and here are my thoughts:
Draft beers range from 5,000-8,500W. The majority are over 6,000W. Best selection in Korea for what the country has to offer. They also have a import bottle selection but not impressed there. You can find all of them at Han's Store for half the price. You can also find most of them at one of the many self-beer places for less.
The food was good if you ever receive it. We ordered the onion rings and they were good. The sauce was above average too.
Now, for the service. This place gives horrible service. We left due to it and so did the table next to us. We had to wait twice for 20 minutes to receive our beers because they kept forgetting. Then, when we ordered another beer and hamburger and they forgot again we cancelled and left. They didn't seem bothered that we were not happy with the service.
The table next to us left after they forgot their beer too. They had 4 people behind the bar and at least 3 waitresses covering the floor, but they could not take care of their customers. The place is not that big so I can not understand the ineptitude of the staff.
About the smoking, you can not smoke inside the place but that doesn't stop people from smoking right outside the door in the stairwell. Every time someone came in, you received a big whiff of smoke.
The bathrooms are the standard, outside the establishment, restrooms that anyone can use. The layout of the bathroom was very inconvenient as well. They put the soap and paper towels to the left of the sink right next to the toilet (plenty of room to the right of the sink). When the bathroom has a line, this becomes awkward as you have to get the soap and grab the towels right next to a guy peeing. I mean literally right next to him.
We will definitely never go there again and will not recommend it to any one else. |

I went there last week for the first time. A server came over when I sat down, but when I was ready to order none of them looked in my direction or came near my table despite my many attempts to flag one down. Eventually someone came over and I got my beer shortly afterward.
Incredible beer selection. The best I've seen in any bar in Korea, Canada, or anywhere. I will be back for that. I'd say that I hope the service gets better, but it may be an isolated experience of slow service (though other posts here on the same theme do indicate a trend). One major complaint I have though is the very small food menu. I don't have many friends who are real beer drinkers, so I can't get them to go to a pub with me unless they have a good food menu.
Again, I will be back there regardless- I hope they make some changes though. |

Hope the menu creation comes from the Wolfhound half. |

this bar might have been cool 5 years ago, but now with new bars opening every month in Itaewon, they really will need to be offering something really good to win customers over, and judging by their customer service, I think they are losing customers.. but if it's owned by RMT and Wolfhound, they will have enough friends to keep it afloat.
just another hangout for the regulars is all. |

I'm not sure it is. A couple of the foreign lads that work there are part owners but i don't know exactly who owns how much.
I went a couple of weeks ago and the service was pretty bad. I was near the bar so I went up and ordered my drinks directly but there was a long wait. Hopefully they will iron out the kinks and improve their service because overall it's a nice place. |

A young Canadian bartender who also works at Magpie Brewing (younger brother of an owner, I guess) told me it's the same owners as RMT & Wolfhound. |

I didn't realize his brother also owned RMT and Wolfhound. That must mean his brother owns RMT, Wolfhound, Reilley's, and Magpie Brewing. I'm a bit jealous. |

...no, no. The guys at Reilley's don't own Magpie Brewing. Re-read the paragraph. |
