So at my new hagwon it takes 75 minutes to walk or a 15 minute bus ride.

This is OK I suppose but my last hagwon was 5 minutes walk away so I would rather that.

It can be a pain somedays as catching the bus adds another hour to my day(including waiting) and walking there and back everyday is a joke.

So how far do you have to go to get to work??

Takes me, on average, around 57 minutes to get from my school to my house via subway and bus.

Not ideal, but we bought our house before I started at the school (house is a really convenient location for my wife to get to her office), and as the school is a fantastic place to work at with great hours and a fantastic remuneration package then I'm happy to do the commute.

It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk across town to the hagwon, 5 minutes longer if I walk along the seashore and gaze at the bay on a sunny day.

It's one of the greatest advantages of living in a rural, coastal community.

It was 8 minutes before I transferred, now well over an hour to walk.

It takes 30-40 minutes door to door.

A very pleasant 10 - 15 minute walk each day, each way. A great way to start the working day. Smile

It takes me 30 min on subway then another 40 minutes on one of the colleges busses (they run about every 30 minutes).

I thought about moving, but I live just next door to the other university (the one that I am studying at) and within 15 minutes walk from my girlfriend - so I think I'll stay here.
