How does it compare to eztv.it? That one's pretty comprehensive for TV shows. |

I use torrentday all the time now too.
Very happy with it. Fast download speeds and not difficult to keep a ratio.
Used to use isohunt and piratebay but they seem to be junk these days. |

Apologies for not mentioning my invites are all gone. I've gotten a few PM requests over the past few days. Should get more invites soon in which case I'll shoot them to those who've PM'd me already. |

I joined torrentday 2 weeks or so ago. I downloaded a few files the first two days and then have been uploading for 14 days. Still my upload / download ratio is only 0.5 and my account is in "alarm". I haven't even downloaded for 2 weeks! That includes the 3GBt of upload credit that you start with, and another GB of upload credit that I cashed in using the point system they have.
After 2 weeks a couple of my torrents are up to 0.15 upload ratio, and the rest are down around 0.05. There are simply so many uploaders, I seem to almost never get "chosen" to be uploaded from.
Could there be something wrong with my settings? Why would something that takes an hour to download take 2 weeks to upload (and only to 0.15)?
I'm glad to have the invite and happy to have torrentday in my "back pocket" in case of need, but just curious how others avoid this upload issue. With piratebay I seem to be able to upload to 1 or 2 after just a couple of days.
Thanks, Very curious,
Drew |
