Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but search records came up empty.
My fiancee and I are looking to get married, but are not interested in the modern Korean-style wedding (open hall where random people can pop in, blaring music, bubble machines etc). She has been to a couple weddings back home, and she is all about the short reception and then the reception after (dinner, drinks, dancing). The problem is, most places are only available to be booked for three hours. I believe the term 'house wedding' is used to describe what we are looking for.
So, I'm wondering if anyone has had a Western style wedding here in Korea, or knows of a place that offers such servive. Ideally, it would be great to have everything in one location, but we are open to any suggestions or ideas.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice. |

Any decent "business" hotel can offer their conference rooms to do a wedding of the style you want.
You'll have to do the planning yourself (arrange for flowers, catering, DJ, bar, etc.)
Talk to their "conference planner" and they can probably do something for you (but it will be on a cost plus basis).

How many people are you expecting for the event? I might be able to recommend a few places depending on the size. Also, let me know if you need a DJ. My rates are quite reasonable. |
