So I did an interview last week. I thought it went ok...not great. The next day I received a +82 call on my cell phone. Weird because the interview had a skype area code. It ringed once and then they hung up I guess.

Since then, I have seen the same job posted on Craigslist several times.

Now my recruiter has another offer, same city, different avalon school. Should I even go for it? Or just give up on Avalon? Opinions?

Interviews mean nothing until you have a contract in hand and a visa applied for.

Keep looking and use more than 1 recruiter.

DON'T send the hard copies till you have a contract in hand and have talked to a teacher at the school.

Avalon (for the most part) is a series of independent franchises, but generally have a good reputation both among Koreans and teachers. (as usual) follow ttompatz' advice here.

Avalon is terrible. Try to avoid if possible.
'It rang once.' Try to brush up on your grammar if you are considering teaching English.

Have to agree with this guy.

First, Avalon is utter garbarge and do not care at all for quality teaching and education and just want to squeeze as much money out of customers as possible. They are.liars and decietful and try get weasel their way out of paying overtime etc. I worked there for 18 months and the director was an absolute clown. You will go mad worling for them. They don't let you do anything but their horrible curriculum.
I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.

Second. You can't afford to make elementary-grade mistakes like that if you want to teach English.

Thanks everyone for the information.

Also, this:

You are correct. That is not a mistake that I usually make. I humbly concede to your correction.
