Obviously the difference is the Korea defenders (or at least a lot of them) tend to be a lot more rude (and insulting). Do you think PatrickGHBusan is a polite and respectful person? How about his friends madoka, wishfullthinkng, moondoggy, wiltern, etc., etc.?

Who's mocking me? Certainly not everyone. Just a couple of apologists. You, Zyzyfer, angry gypo highstreet, and maybe a few other Korea defenders.

I'm not chest thumping. I'm just responding to attempted insults.

Considering how you love reading up on people I'm surprised you would call me an apologist. I don't like to sit around and expound about Korea and Koreans one way or the other.

Hell, I read through the thread and the only comments remotely resembling an apologist retort were a brief exchange between you and TheUrbanMyth and your response to Evanzinho.

So what is it? Some people are giving you grief so they must be apologists trying to tell you to can it and accept your crappy ESL salary and smile when you eat kimchi?

Whatever hombre, have fun digging that hole.

What hole? This conversation is boring me. Yes, you are an apologist. Yes, you post a lot of stupid crap. No, I'm not going to get into an e-argument. You win. Post something else to get the last word in. (I'm sure it will be fascinating.) I could not possibly ever win an argument with you on here, because you have more time to spend online than I do. Seeing as how you have thousands of posts, I will never be able to one up you. No matter what I post, you will always have a follow up post. It's like e-battling PGHB. There is no hope of winning. (He always gets in the last word; anyone who tries to argue with him ends up losing, as they waste their time...just like I am now.>_<) You win, e-warrior dude.

Yup, that's the way to "win". Call people an apologist, and somehow that makes your argument sooooo much stronger.

You came on here, bragged about being MENSA level, and then flubbed on a translation. Now, you're name calling.

Honestly, man... WTH are you going on about?

lol. i'm rude on the internet to tools like you for a reason, champ. and i don't know pghb never have, nor am i an a "korea defender" or whatever stupid title you want to lump random people into.

you have so much to learn it's unreal.

i'm just gonna sit back and watch you get torn up even more. entertaining stuff, this is. you'd imagine if someone was wrong and was getting told so from every side that they'd want to better themselves and understand why they were wrong and not make the same mistakes again. *eats popcorn*

No, you are a Korea defender. (Also, you are a United States basher.) Another poster wrote it is foolish to blame to The U.S. for the division of the peninsula. You told him he doesn't understand history. Yeah, man. That guy is so "close minded". It's all the U.S.A.'s fault. Rolling Eyes "Go Canada! Go Korea! The United States sucks!" (I hear that one a lot...always from Canadians for some reason.)

KimchiNinja (an obvious troll- judging by his writing style, it's quite clear it's the same person who posts under the name Zackback) posted a discredited study about IQ rankings by country...and you believed it! You are an obvious bigot. You're not even worth talking to. (For the record, the number of people disagreeing with me- a few angry Canadians that can be counted on one hand- is small.)

Go ahead and go crazy now about what I said (yawn).

Don't you know that a percentage point or two more on an IQ test is insignificant and that it has more to do with sociological factors than intelligence?

one iq point doesn't make a difference? wrong.

a percentange point or two? on this list south korea is EIGHT points above the usa. that is NOT insignificant.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/international-students/468951-average-iq-country.html

single points are important, especially when you are considering that many countries are around the 100 iq point mark. 1 iq point is 1% of their overall intelligence, which would more or less equate that the typical american is 6-7% less intelligent than a typical korean.

no matter how you argue it, kimchininja is correct. feel free to do your own survey to fight the facts, but i'd dare say you'd be very disappointed with your own results.

EDIT: oh, and your nature vs. nurture arguement? the variance tends to be around 0-1 iq point based on the general scientific community. good try with that arguement though. it could probably convince some of the readers with lower iq's though.

What a surprise, a 12 page thread has descended into an apologista argument. I know, I know, I'm as guilty as anyone for that. I actually thought this one might have gone into the CE forum posters like visitorQ and Kuros arguing over economics and the Gold Standard. Guess I was wrong.

And somehow there's a Zackback reference.

Are you sure about the order on that one? Rolling Eyes People called me stupid (many, many times counting past threads) and I finally responded. Yes, how dare I defend myself.

i'm not canadian thanks, and you're wrong. i don't bash only the usa. i've bashed korea as well. you conveniently chose not to post those however. typical. i bash ignorance in general which is why you seem to be constantly in my crosshairs.

i would bet your yearly salary that kimchininja is not zachback. but of course you'd probably make up some ridiculous excuse and say that your mensa level iq wasn't working when you made such a strange assumption.

obvious bigot? do you really think all races of humanity are exactly the same? some are taller, some are shorter, some have very unique genetic traits unique from other ethnicities. so you are shortsighted enough to think that magically these differences cannot apply to their intelligence? and somehow me citing multiple studies that show average iq ratings is somehow bigoted (which i'd love for you to show me how these were "discredited" by the way)?

you are a glutton for punishment, love being wrong, and an absolute waste of time to talk to.

Well...you said you're not American....and you bash on Americans. You are a Brit?

You believe Asians are inherently smarter than whites and whites are inherently smarter than blacks (as your stupid "study" says)? Wow. And you are calling me ignorant?

As I understand the war, North Korea tried to unify the peninsula under Communism. The south put up a weak fight and the UN with America in charge got involved. Within six months, Korea was unified again but under non communist control. Then China got involved and the division has remained ever since. Blame China, not America for the division of the peninsula. I suppose it could be America's fault that South Korea is not also ruled by Kim Jeong Un today as a unified Communist el juche paradise....

Better yet, maybe we should blame Japan for occupying the country and starting this all in the first place. It resulted in the Americans and Russians coming in later on.

"Blaming" anyone for anything geo-political from 1900-1975 is pretty pointless. From 1900-1945 it was pretty much a race to grab what you could and if you didn't do it, you would be left behind and vulnerable to attack.

From 1945-1975 it was similar only in the context of the Cold War. China, the US, and Russia were all acting in their own best interests in fighting over the peninsula because all three were so mutually suspicious of the others.

One could blame the Americans, but then one would have to blame the Russians, who would blame the Japanese, who would blame the British, who would blame the Spanish, who would blame the Saracens, who would blame the Crusaders, who would blame the Moors, who would blame the Romans, who would blame the Carthaginians, who would blame the Greeks, who would blame the Persians, who would blame the Egyptians or whoever.

I'm a charitable person, so I'm not going to take you up on that offer, but yeah, they're the same poster.

Does that sound like zackback? That's because it is zackback. (You'd have to be a pretty pathetic person to lie on the internet and be a troll. Personally, I don't think this person's posts are amusing; they're just wasting people's time and giving foreigners a bad rep.)

I called out KimchiNinja as zackback, and he didn't respond, just like when I called out alongway as the sock of crossmr he didn't respond, and when I called out jennykwon as the sock of davidmeetup he didn't respond.
