any ideas about that? what could be happening? |
Don't know. Some people get it more than others, I've gotten it a few times. It's generated by the phpbb2 software. My guess is it's something to do with the cookies that the board uses to track you and log you in and out. It's getting confused about something. Just close the box and ignore it. |

it's interesting
I assume the administrator has the choice to make the password expire or never expire?
maybe it's something with the dates? Well, I'm sure you guys have looked into it. Is it a common problem with all php boards? |

Okay, at the Busan Conference the other day, I did ask specifically about that one, and was told to just ignore it, it is some sort of a glitch. I have answered it a couple of times, so I assume that I am covered for the next ten years. |

I got some funny E-Mails recently from Kimcheeking. Virusscan advised me not to open them so I dumped them.
Happens occasionally. |

I had a picture of Richard D James, put people started giving me abuse over trivial little things- but you can't curse out that little trooper can you? Look at his brave little face! |

If anyone's interested in seeing this mythical password (and I'm not sure why you would), here's how to get it to pop up:
1. Make sure you're logged in to the board
2. Right click on some thread links, and choose "open in a new window".. get a couple screens of threads open.
3. In the first window, click on "Log out [ username]" - you'll now be logged out of the system.
4. In any of the other windows, the link should still read "Log out [ username]", since those pages were generated when you were logged in. Click on one, and the log in box will appear.
The popup box saying you have 450 days to change your password blah blah blah will appear.
Seems to be a bug. Just ignore it.
5. Give the usual login box (not the popup) your username and password to sign in. |
