Hello all,
I am new to this forum, and I have been trying to use the search tool to look for an answer to my question but for some reason it is not working with any browser i use. So i apologize if this has been answered before. Any way, I have a 2 year degree and want to teach in Korea temporary as i am aware the only visa i could obtain to work legally without a bachelors degree is for 90 days. Does anyone here have any suggestions as to any places that look for temporary teachers. Any information on my situation would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. |

Im sure someone else will respond with the correct name of the program, but I think its called talk korea or something. I have seen it talked about on here before. You can get a free flight, housing, and work, but it is very little in terms of pay compared to the regular esl jobs. Im sure if you research, you could find it. Its for people without a 4 yr degree, but have some college credits. |

Click the TaLK side. Available to anyone with 2years or more of uni coursework. 15 classes per week. 1.5m krw. Rural locations. After school classes (3-6pm).
ALL other programs to allow you to teach require a MINIMUM of a Bachelor's degree.
An Associate degree (2 year) or 2 year diploma won't work (below the minimum requirement for legal work as a teacher) anywhere in Asia EXCEPT Taiwan and then you need a valid TEFL to go with it for buxiban work.
Effective in 2015 a Bachelor's degree will be the minimum in all of Asia for legal work as a teacher.
