Could be useful. I will test it and see if it maintains the formatting

You can get the Hangul Office suite (Hanword 2010, Hancell 2010, and Hanshow 2010) in English for US$59. If you're not interested in paying that, you can just download the suite for the 90 day trial (maybe it's a 60 day trial).

Awesome! Thanks for posting this... I usually refuse outright to look at any hwp files... Cali, im not sure how paying for it or havinga 2/3 month trial is as helpful as the converter.

Its usually not a good idea to have two programs that essentially do the same thing on a computer just to deal with file formats.

The trial is useful but it may be just a temporary offer.

Works great, thanks!

It functions automatically when you open the hwp file in Word.

Why the (expletive) would I waste money on a format that the rest of the world does not use. Why would I waste the effort to install the software that is so bloated it it incomprehensible I once looked the VIEWER was like 160MB and Microsoft Offices Viewers was about 25MB. For a veiwer, not even a program that can edit! Looked at a file sharing web site and say HANWORD with allows editting bulking out at 1.33 GB. That is zipped/rarred up whose knows what is in all those bits. Plus with Korean tendency to add extras aka malware I am actually scarred to even install. I practice safe computing and with the adage of sure heck do not download pirated software, sure as hell be very careful installing Korean made software. Any time I visit my Korean bank website, I wonder what is being installed this time, I actually feel dirty.

I like my Windows, but I sure as heck like my software to at least be tight and slim.

Enough Rant. Thanks OP for posting us the file and info. Hope to test out in the future.
