|
|
I am going to buy a bicycle, so any tips on how and where to go about it will be greatly appreciated. The requirements for the bike are:
- New. I don't want to take any risks, so buying new is right choice for me.
- maximum of 400,000 won.
- Suitable for road use and occasional off-road stuff.
- I am around 5ft 9in (176cm) with a leg length of 32/33 inch - so what frame size is good for me?
Are there any half-decent Korean brands or good bike stores around?
Thanks |

Go to the Samchully store and get one there. They can set you up with the right size, no trouble.
When you say occasional off-road stuff, what does that mean? A road bike is for on-road only, a hybrid is for on-road with some rough patches only, and a mountain bike is for what I would call off-road. If you're planning ANY sort of riding over non pavement for more than getting from pavement A to pavement B, you probably want to go with a mountain bike, or else you'll be bending rims left and right. |

Thanks for the advice. Where is this store you mentioned? Perhaps I should consider getting a MTB after all. I would like to take it down a mountain some time. |
