I want do some volunteering to bump up my points the F visa. Anyone know of some on going volunteering activities besides visiting orphanages and nursing homes? I'm free weekday mornings/lunch and weekends. Would love to do something that includes cleaning up the environment, but open to other stuff like soup kitchens etc. Obviously, they have to be able to provide a certificate of proof i did the volunteering. If its near North East Seoul awesome, but happy to travel anywhere so long as it doesn't conflict with my working hours.

| Look at PSCORE.org. They may be needing to scale down soon due to lack of funding from the US government sequester, but assuming they are still going, you meet up with a North Korean defector who is hoping to learn English better. I am doing this right now and my student is a willing dedicated learner. You meet at a place convenient and work together for an hour or two each week, or more, or less depending on your schedule and theirs. |

there are scores of groups, maybe you can check with the seoul global center.
just avoid any group with the word "mannam" in it |
