I always knock the umbrella out of the way. Always. And I knock it hard so that it falls out of the holders/offenders hands. If they are rude enough to do what they do, well then, so can I.

Do you do the same thing at urinals here? Just substitute "umbrellas" with "weiners" in your post and you have a whole new thread.

I feel relief. Last Monday was the first day since I've been here that I was forced to walk the streets of Seoul with an umbrella. I gave as good as I got. There was one moment coming up out of a subway exit when I simply put my head down and charged through several people crowding down the stairs. I could feel their stares burning into the back of my neck.

I now know that I was doing the right thing.

Your umbrellas cannot harm me. My umbrella is like a shield of steel...
