I've been applying to recruiters but responses have been sparse, a result I believe can be attributed to the fact I don't have my documents in line. I've read on a fb group that it is possible to have CRC processing expedited by writing your congressman and requesting they intervene on your behalf. has anyone done this? if so how long was it before your congressman responded and how long before you got your CRC? also do you have an example of the letter you wrote?
thanks all! |

You can try writing to your Congressman, however I don't know if it really works even though some people on this forum say it does. Someone was saying that you have to send the application via registered mail in order for the FBI to find it and expedite it at the request of a Congressman. I don't know what to believe as far as the claims stated here on the forum. Give it a try. The CRC's can take up to 3 months but I think they usually arrive between 6 to 7 weeks. Lots of luck. |

The last I read was it doesn't work and they can't help you. You can try it and report back to us. |

I had a friend who tried it out and it worked. I think it is all up to the individual Congress Critter and their staff if they can help.
I would recommend trying to contact your congressperson and see if it will happen. Please do report on your success of failure. |
